Thank you for your interest in Eurolanche, the first European fanclub of the Colorado Avalanche. Should you wish to join us, please, use the form below to register. You can choose from two levels of membership – basic membership and premium membership. Among other benefits, premium membership offers the possibility to meet Colorado Avalanche players, join draws for prizes, and be part of the Eurolanche trips to Denver, Colorado. The only condition of premium membership is the payment of a one time fee of 10 Euros minimum. Basic membership is free and offers an account with the Eurolanche website, access to the chatrooms, message boards, and to the Eurolanche Zone. Please note that all fields of the registration form must be filled in with true information. The information provided will be used for registration purposes only and Eurolanche will not sell or disclose it to any third parties. After submitting the form, you will be asked to select the information you would like to appear on your profile in the Members section. Members can also get their articles published on the Eurolanche website. I. Basic provision Eurolanche is a sports association uniting fans of National Hockey League team Colorado Avalanche. Its main goal is to make good reputation of Colorado Avalanche in Europe by preparing various events and activities. Name of the sports association: Eurolanche Sphere of action: Europe Residence: Mánesovo námestie 1, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovak Republic II. Activities of Eurolanche Main activity of Eurolanche is to spread good name of Colorado Avalanche in Europe, present this club and help its members purchase souvenirs, game tickets and other merchandise stuff. Eurolanche organizes meetings with members, players or team stuff and regularly brings articles and reports about Colorado Avalanche on its webpage in several languages. III. Membership in Eurolanche a. Regular membership Every individual and corporate body with permanent residence in Europe (or with a citizenship of European country) can become a regular member of Eurolanche. Each candidate interested in premium or regular membership (further only „membership“) is obliged to: 1. fill in e-registration form; 2. agree with the terms of membership; 3. choose between regular and premium membership in the registration form. Regular membership is made within 24 hours after submitting the registration form by publishing the member’s profile on web-page. Premium membership is established after submitting registration form and by paying single-time registration fee 10 Euro and publishing the member’s profile on web-page. b. Membership in executive team Every regular member can become a member of executive team when the member fulfils conditions described in point VII. and is lawfully introduced to the function by the director or his representative on the ground of the member’s activities leading to development of the association. c. Expiration of membership Regular membership in Eurolanche expires in case when the member: 1. decides to leave the organization on the ground of written or electronic statement; 2. violates the duties described in point VI. paragraph (a or (b; 3. dies; 4. intentionally harms good reputation of Eurolanche; 5. is inactive for one year. d. Expiration of membership in executive team Membership in executive team expires when the member decides to leave the executive team or in case of violation of duties described in point VII. Membership in executive team is changed to premium membership. IV. Rights of regular members a. Each regular member of Eurolanche has right to: 1. receive information about the Eurolanche, at least once a month; 2. communicate with other members and members of executive team; 3. take advantage of benefits mentioned in point VIII., paragraph (a; 4. have own profile and access to discussions and hockey market „Eurolanche Zone“. b. Each premium member of Eurolanche has right to: 1. take advantage of benefits mentioned in point IV., paragraph (a; 2. participate on mutual activities and events; and conditions further specified (points XII., XIII., XIV.); 3. access to souvenirs sale done via the fanclub. V. Rights of members of executive team Every member of Eurolanche executive team has right to: 1. take advantage of benefits mentioned in point IV., paragraph (a and point VIII.; 2. participate on mutual activities and events, and conditions further specified; 3. be preferred in case of organization of all mutual events and activities (points XII., XIII., XIV.); 4. evaluate activities of other members together with director and his representative; 5. take part on regular meetings with the executive team and the director. VI. Responsibilities and duties of the regular members a. Each regular member is obliged to: 1. respond on notifications (e-mails) and organizational instructions; 2. actively participate in the sports association by means of discussions, e-mail communication and web-chat of the web-page. b. Each premium member is obliged to: 1. pay in the shortest possible time one-time registration fee at least 10 Euro; 2. follow the obligations mentioned in point VI., letter (a. VII. Responsibilities and duties of executive team members Each member of executive team is obliged to: 1. write at least one article per week about Colorado Avalanche (at least half a A4 page using font Times New Roman size 12); 2. coordinate given group of regular members and actively work in Eurolanche activities; 3. spread the good name of Eurolanche; 4. take part in marketing activities – copy banners and distribute them effectively ; 5. actively search for new fanclub members; 6. pay annual fee minimally 20 € (twenty Euro). a. Member and executive staff member isn’t obliged to follow duties if: 1. sickness and long-term sick leave; 2. urgent working or study duties; 3. relevant family reasons. In case of the first point the member of executive team is obliged to get medical confirmation in case of sick leave longer than 10 days. In other cases the member has to inform about the absence at least two days before. If the member responsible for writing articles doesn’t inform about absence then the member is notified by the director. After repeating this absence the member will be automatically moved to cathegory „premium member“. Member will be moved to cathegory „premium member“ even in case when absence will be caused by sick-leave, job or study responsibilities or some other personal reasons within three weeks. VIII. Benefits of member a. Each Eurolanche regular member has right to use these benefits: 1. receive regular monthly news about what‘s going on in Eurolanche including information about newly organized events; 2. write and publish articles about Colorado Avalanche in own language; 3. have own profile and access to discussions and hockey market „Eurolanche Zone“. b. Each Eurolanche premium member has right to use these benefits: 1. participate in competitions; 2. participate on mutual activities mentioned in points XII., XIII., a XIV. and organization conditions further specified; 3. access to souvenirs sale done via the fanclub; 4. use benefits of regular member mentioned in point VII., paragraph (a. IX. Benefits Eurolanche executive team member Each Eurolanche executive team member can make use of these benefits: 1. has the benefits of regular member and premium member mentioned in point VIII.;; 2. preference in every mutual events and activities 3. preference in case of event with restricted number of participants; 4. use full scale of privileges during Invasion without charge. X. Organization structure The sports association is lead by the director who together with his representative evaluates the activities of other members and members of executive team with the right to revoke or to renew the membership. He takes care of the sports association and of all its mutual activities. Representative of the director and the executive team is the advisory body. Regular member can became a member of advisory body in case when fulfils conditions described in point VII. and is lawfully introduced to the function by the director or his representative on the ground of member’s activities leading to development of the association. Basic unit of the sports association are the regular and premium members which are joining the fanclub after fulfilling criteria mentioned in point III. paragraph (a. Status „honour member“ can be given to individuals and corporate bodies which have significantly helped in development of Eurolanche. This status is given on the ground of decision of director, his representative and executive team. XI. Management and property Financial resources of Eurolanche are: a. membership fees; b. allowances; c. proceeds from mutual activities and from Invasion program; d. presents; e. other resources. Financial resources are used for the development of fanclub, organizational purposes, mutual activities, competitions and other activities. Sports association is non-profitable project and all incomes are invested to its own activities. XII. Program Invasion Every premium member and member of executive team can take place in Invasion program after fulfilling these conditions: 1. to be a member for more than six months; 2. regularly cooperation on Eurolanche mutual activities; 3. active communication with the members of executive team; 4. has general knowledge about the hockey team of Colorado Avalanche;; 5. agreement with these conditions to join Invasion program, further information will be provided in advance. Those members who do not fulfill the conditions can also take place in the Invasion program but they will have to pay partial costs – amount will be calculated individually. XIII. Meetings with players Every premium member or executive team member who is member for more than six months can take place on a meeting with present or former players of Colorado Avalanche organized by Eurolanche. In case when the number of participants is restricted the executive team will make decision based upon the activity of a particular member. XIV. Other activities Other mutual activities organized by Eurolanche can be attended by each premium member and by each executive team member. Under other mutual activities are considered: 1. meetings of premium members and members of executive team; 2. prize competitions; 3. other. XV. e-shop a. Internet shop „Avalanche shop“ Eurolanche offers in section „Avalanche shop“ a guide how to get hockey memorabilia for premium members and members of executive staff. Each premium member and member of executive team has the right to use the services of internet Avalanche shop what means: 1. sale of official Colorado Avalanche souvenirs from Altitude Authentics shop and from NHLshop and other sources provided by Eurolanche; 2. sale of hockey cards. Method of payment is individual and further specified via personal, written or electronic agreement between the head of the executive stuff, his representative or a member of executive team and the member – the purchaser. Eurolanche is not the owner of the internet shop, it is just mediator of the memorabilia sales from other official internet shops. b. Hockey market „Eurolanche Zone“ Eurolanche offers to members ad executive staff place for trading and changing hockey memorabilia in section „Eurolanche Zone“. Eurolanche is not involved financially and neither by any other means to trades and exchanges but reserves itself the right to change or delete inappropriate souvenir offered for sale or change. It is strictly prohibited to offer signed memorabilia or ask for extremely high prices. c. Sale of Eurolanche souvenirs Eurolanche occasionaly offers for members and executive staff sale of its own merchandise. All members are noticed about the sale with a notification placed on web page of Avalanche. Eurolanche invests all incomes to development of fanclub and for purposes of members and executive staff. XVI. Activities of members and executive staff a. Activity of the member Activity of the members is measured beside others (see point X.) by activity on the web-page – it depends on the number of submitted articles and other interactive submissions. Activity of premium and regular members can be checked in profile section of users – it’s measured by „pucks“ which are given by system depending on the activity of the member. Maximum number of „pucks“ and the highest grade of activity is five „pucks“. Director can reward each member for outstanding performance by bonus points – from one to eight small “points” placed above the “pucks” in profile section of the web. Detailed score of interactivity is available in each member’s profile. b. Activity of the executive staff member Activity of the executive staff member is not measured like the regular member’s. Each executive staff member has its duties (point VII.), which order him to show the highest possible activity – it means to have all five “pucks”. Director can reward executive staff member for outstanding performance by bonus points – from one to eight small “points” placed above the “pucks” in profile section of the web just like in the case of regular members. These terms are valid from 1/2/2010 and are valid for all members and executive staff. In case of any update all members will be informed in advance.
