The Game

The GameThis is a brief column about the game against Anaheim Ducks.

Somebody could have worries after two periods of the game when it was tied 1:1. It looked like few weeks before – Colorado pushed on the opponent, had many chances, but did not know how to score. To that time only McLeod got his name to his stat, unusual scorer. But the third period showed the strength and hard-work of the Avs. They overplayed Ducks almost all the time of the game. There were few moments when the Ducks could score. Varlamov allowed one very weak goal, but he helped the team much and importantly, the team could score more than once. Downie gained two assists. Landeskog was not also in the position of scorer. O´Reilly´s game winning goal is the evidence of his clutch skills. Duchene had great game. He did what he wanted behind and in front of the net. He got nice goal too. Anaheim players did not even to skate from their zone to our. It was another great result and performance by the Avs. Well-deserved win.
