Danish d-man gets tryout for Avs camp

Danish d-man gets tryout for Avs campTwenty-one year old Markus Holton Lauridsen signed tryout contract with Colorado Avalanche for the upcoming training camp.

Lauridsen spent last two seasons in the USHL playing for Green Bay Gamblers. His last season was very successful. He gained 30 points in 58 games, what are good stats for the blue liner. Mark had appeared in the last two world juniors tournaments and earned 10 points in 10 games. He has had experiences with Swedish junior hockey league too.

Mark´s older brother Oliver was drafted Philadelphia Flyers three years ago and is still under the organization. Mark has not been drafted yet. We will see after camp if he will start new part of the career in the university hockey league or will play for one of the Avalanche affiliate team from the minors.
