VIDEO: Landeskog had a fight in Sweden

VIDEO: Landeskog had a fight in SwedenCaptain of the Colorado Avalanche had a little fight at the end of the last game.

Gabriel Landeskog´s Swedish team Djurgarden of the 2-tier league lost the second straight game, now against Troja 2:3. The whole team and fans were frustrated at the end of the game what caused the little fight between Landeskog and Robin Dahlstrom.

Actually, the fight was done almost immediately after the start, when players of both teams came there and started the mass brawl. According to one Swedish fan, “Gabby gave 3-4 lovely right hooks to the face at Dahlstrom”. This has happened before the video at the top starts. Landeskog is without the helmet. You can see how the refs are pulling down Landeskog.

Landeskog received 2+2 minutes for roughing and 10 minutes for the abusing of officials. As there is not much information about the conflict now, we can speculate that Gabriel did not like their decision as he was the lone player who got a penalty.

One Swedish media said that Landeskog disgraced himself. Of course, it is not true. The captain of the NHL team just showed his non-scoring skills and tried to motivate his teammates for the upcoming games.

He is not only a great scorer; he is a great teammate who is willing to fight for everybody. According to the Djurgarden fans, it was one of the worst games in the team history. At least, Landeskog showed he knows how the fans feel.

The referee holds Landeskog´s head under his arm.

The positive news on the story is that Landeskog is healthy. He missed the previous game due a sickness.
