Four Avs players at the 2014 WC in Minsk

A total of four players from the Colorado Avalanche franchise will represent their countries at the 2014 IIHF World Championship in Belarus from 9th May till 25th May, 2014.
Nathan MacKinnon - Canada
He will make his debut at the senior World Championship. His great rookie season causes him to be considered one of the best players at the Worlds. A strong Team Canada will have medal ambitions.
Reto Berra – Switzerland
Goalie Reto Berra will probably be the Swiss’ number one goalie. He will be participating in his third World Championship, and is a silver medal winner from last year. He played one game at the Olympic Games in Sochi, 2014.
Jonas Holos – Norway
He played for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl this season, but he is still a member of the Avalanche franchise. Holos is travelling to his 9th World Championship. He played in the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games. Holos usually has ice-time of about 30 minutes per game.
Markus Lauridsen – Denmark
Lauridsen played for Lake Erie in the AHL this year. He is participating in his second World Championship.
