New: Rate the players/team after game

The Eurolanche Fan Club introduces another new feature as part of its 10^th season. At www.eurolanche.com, fans will have to opportunity to rate the performance of every player, as well as the overall performance of the team after each Avalanche game. The Fan Club will evaluate the results and announce the winners at the end of the season.

The ratings of players, as well as the team rating will be part of each game summary during the regular season, which you’ll find on Eurolanche’s homepage usually within minutes after the end of the game. At the bottom of the summary, you’ll find two boxes – one for rating each player, the other one for rating the team’s overall performance.

The ratings will be on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest rating available. In case you’ll forget to rate a player or simply don’t want to/can’t rate him, he’ll automatically get 5 points. 

After the conclusion of the regular season, the Fan Club will evaluate your ratings from each of the 82 games played and publish the entire players’ ranking in order to find out, who’ll become Colorado’s MVP according to Eurolanche.com readers. Based on the rating of the team’s overall performance after each game, we’ll select the games Eurolanche.com readers rated as the best and worst of the season. These results will also serve future analyses, which will be published at the end of the season. In case of a play-off berth, the rating system will restart and will only feature ratings from play-off games.
