The Game

Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi, who has missed the past three games with a lower-body injury, participated in the optional morning skate and could return against the Colorado Avalanche at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday.

The Predators could be without center Nick Bonino who did not practice Monday or participate in the morning skate Tuesday. Nashville recalled forward Frederick Gaudreau from Milwaukee of the American Hockey League and placed defenseman Yannick Weber (upper body) on injured reserve.

Colorado forward Colin Wilson will play against Nashville for the first time since he was traded to the Avalanche on July 1. Wilson spent eight seasons with the Predators.

Colorado will try to win at Bridgestone Arena for the first time since March 28, 2016 (0-3-0).
 
Players to watch

Avalanche forwards Matt Duchene and Sven Andrighetto each has six points (three goals, three assists) in six games.

Predators forward Filip Forsberg has seven points (five goals, two assists) in five games.

Defenseman P.K. Subban has seven points (one goal, six assists) in five games.
