My nicest moment of the Invasion IX was a meeting with Joe Sakic. On the second day of the trip we watched the Avalanche practice afterwards we were waiting on the players outside. We were in hope to meet players who had to use „the right“ exit. After like one hour, someone yelled „Sakic’s coming“. At the first I thought it is joke, but it was really him. Joe left his car and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Sakic really surprises us how friendly he was towards our group. He took a photo with everyone, gave us autographs and even greeted our members via recorded video. And also wished all the best on the occasion of our 10th anniversary. I felt bad because I did not have his card with me for a signature because I didn’t believe we would meet him. At the end, I had a signed jersey, group photo and a memorable moment on which I will never forget.
