Eurolanche League after 20 rounds
A short summary of the Eurolanche League after its first planned quarter.The first 20 games of the 2018-19 NHL season are in the books, meaning that the popular Eurolanche League has also finished its first quarter. Eurolanche League is a competition between the members of Eurolanche Fan Club. The purpose is to find members who are able to predict results of the Colorado Avalanche during the season as good as they can. The first three members will win the authentic Colorado Avalanche souvenirs at the end of the season (signed photos/cards, pucks, magazines etc.).

The basic rule for every game (incl. playoffs) is to make a prediction - the winning team of every single game, the name of the author of the game winning goal and the final score of the game (add "OT" for overtime and "SO" for shootout, if you do not think that game will end in the regulation).
During the first 20 games, we’ve received 530 predictions from 41 different contestants, which equals 26.5 predictions per game. Thus far, nobody has managed to get a full 11 points for a single prediction. Nonetheless, 21 contestants have already managed to guess the scorer of the game-winning goal at least once, with 10 contestants predicting the exact final score.
This season, we’ve already held a contest for this watch and we’re planning to include other souvenirs in additional special contests.
Just a remainder which prizes were awarded last season. This season’s prizes will be announced after the 60th game of the regular season:
1st place: an Adam Foote autograph, the Eurolanche book and other Fan Club memorabilia, an Avalanche magnet – in case the winner will be a member of the Yeti Ultras group, he or she will receive an autographed Nikita Zadorov puck with a certificate of authenticity, as well as Avalanche earphones
2nd place: a Tyson Barrie autograph, the Eurolanche book and other Fan Club memorabilia, an Avalanche magnet – in case the winner will be a member of the Yeti Ultras group, he or she will receive an autographed Nail Yakupov puck with a certificate of authenticity, as well the Avs’ yearbook
3rd place: a Carla Soderberg autograph, the Eurolanche book and other Fan Club memorabilia, an Avalanche magnet – in case the winner will be a member of the Yeti Ultras group, he or she will receive a commemorative patch from Milan Hejduk’s jersey retirement game and an Avalanche pin
