Registration for the outdoor game is now open
The Fan Club launched the registration process for the Avalanche’s second outdoor game in Colorado along with a new special website dedicated to the event.The NHL and the Colorado Avalanche have recently announced the second outdoor game in the history of Colorado State. The Avalanche will host the 2020 NHL Stadium Series game on February 15, 2020 at the Falcon Stadium of the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Their opponent will be announced at a later date.
Eurolanche members now have the chance to sign up for the event, which will be included in the schedule of the Fan Club's twelfth trip to Colorado under the name Eurolanche Invasion XII. On this occasion, Eurolanche launched a special website – StadiumSeries2020.Eurolanche.com – where registration forms in both English and Slovak are available along with more information.
The new special website will be fully updated at a later date with content dedicated to the event, the NHL, as well as the history of outdoor ice hockey games.
Eurolanche members who’ll fill out one of the forms will subsequently receive updates from the Fan Club regarding expected costs, a proposal of the Invasion XII schedule, a list of possible Avs games to visit during said Invasion and more detailed information. Members who have signed up for the event will have until July 1, 2019 to make a final decision regarding their participation at the event.
The uniqueness of the 2020 NHL Stadium Series event in Colorado is underlined by the fact that Eurolanche launched its registration process not only more than one year in advance, but even before the upcoming Eurolanche Invasion XI. The eleventh trip of the Fan Club will be organized in February 2019, tying the participating Fan Club members record with 12 participants from six countries for eight, which will set a new record. Together, they will attend 8 Avalanche games, which will also be a project record.
Eurolanche organized the Eurolanche Invasion VIII back in 2016, when a record-setting number of 12 members from five different countries attended the 2016 NHL Stadium Series in Denver, along with the Alumni Game and the next five Avalanche regular season games.
