American TV channel visits Eurolanche

American TV channel visits EurolancheEurolanche has yet another big accomplishment.

The biggest Colorado Avalanche Fan Club in the world has once again made history. Reporter Jeremy Hubbard from FOX 31 (KDVR) based in Denver, Colorado, flew all the way to Europe as part of his report about the connections between the state of Colorado and the “Old Continent”. His first steps led him to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, where he met with Eurolanche founder and president David Puchovsky.

The meeting took place at Puchovsky’s home, who showed Hubbard and his crew his special room full of Colorado Avalanche souvenirs, the majority of which he bought during the past 11 years while in Colorado alongside other Fan Club members during Eurolanche’s Invasion trips to the US.

FOX 31 aired the interview with Puchovsky on the eve of the Avs’ 2019-20 season opener on Wednesday, October 2 as part of its evening newscast after 9 p.m. local time.

Hubbard asked about Eurolanche’s creation and history, about the available options to watch Avs games, as well as about the displayed souvenirs. He also named Puchovsky the “biggest Avs fan in the world”.

“The fact that a well-known US reporter travelled all the way from Colorado because of the Fan Club and to make an interview with me for the evening newscast is yet another very big accomplishment in the Fan Club’s 12-year history. It just further proves that thanks to a lot of hard work, Eurolanche has become a truly unique project across the entire NHL," said Puchovsky.
