Eurolanche to send face masks with Avs logo
The Fan Club supports its American friends in these difficult times.THIS OFFER HAS EXPIRED ON APRIL 13TH.
The COVID-19 virus, better known as the coronavirus, has become an unprecedented global threat. The virus has drastically impacted everyday life across the world, including the United States, where Eurolanche members made a number of great friends throughout its 13 years in existence, many of whom are Colorado Avalanche season ticket holders and have helped Eurolanche Invasion participants on numerous occasions. Now it’s time to return the favor.
“We’re living in difficult times. Some of our friends and acquaintances in Colorado are lacking face masks. In Slovakia where I live, wearing face masks has been made mandatory by law. Otherwise, one could face a fine of up to 2,000 USD. Thanks to very early precautions, Slovakia ranks among the safest countries in the world with one of the lowest numbers of infected patients. This is why we want to help our friends across the ocean and do the very least we can – provide them with face masks,” said Eurolanche president and founder David Puchovsky.
According to latest news out of the US, there’s a severe lack of face masks all across the country. This is why Eurolanche has teamed up with a company, which manufactures custom printed face masks. They offer face masks with the Avalanche logo, Eurolanche logo, both logos or with both text and the respective logo. The face masks are made out of a special fiber, which is used by medical personnel and can thus be reused multiple times – you can iron or even wash them after you return home and safely use them again. The face masks are by no means throwaway, single-use masks.
The price for one face mask is 6 USD. This is a fixed price charged by the private company, which manufactures them. The Fan Club only acts as a “middle man” – its task is to submit and process a bulk order, divide it into separate pieces in accordance with the orders submitted by each fan and ship them directly to the provided address of each Avalanche fan not only in the US, but all across the globe, as the Fan Club has members from 44 different countries from each continent except Antarctica.
“Eurolanche makes no profit from this. It’s all about the health and safety of Avalanche fans. Every single Avs fan is a friend of ours, whether we know him personally or not. Sadly, since we’re a non-profit organization, we don’t have the resources to buy the face masks ourselves and distribute them for free. This is why we want to help as much as we can, with minimum costs for the manufacturer,” concluded Puchovsky.
