The Colorado Avalanche International project

Today, the Colorado Avalanche International project has been published at its standalone website www.coloradoavalancheinternational.com. This is a project proposal, which has been prepared in 2020 – 2021 by Colorado Avalanche fans from all around the world. The goal of the project is to inspire club management to create either an official fan club or an official service for fans of the Colorado Avalanche living abroad.

This is an independent project, which isn’t part of the Eurolanche Fan Club, although its creators based the proposal on more than 15 years of experience working with international fans of the Colorado Avalanche. The project is intended for all fans of the club.

178 fans from Europe, the US and Canada took part in a survey, which served as the source of key data for said proposal. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who took part in creating the project.

We believe that the Colorado Avalanche International project will serve as the starting point for the development of mutual relations between the Colorado Avalanche and its international fans. An official and licensed service for benefits and offers is something international fans are missing and, on the other hand, has the potential to open up the international market for the entire organization.

The connection of the entire world, and especially Europe, with the NHL is a long-standing tradition with enormous potential. It is only a matter of time before the first NHL club creates services for international fans based on examples from other professional leagues in the US, Canada and Europe.

The group of fans, who devoted lots of free time and energy to the development of the project, will be ready to answer questions, share other ideas or have a mutual discussion, which will bring benefits to both parties – the organization and the fans.

Colorado Avalanche International is a project created by fans for other fans, by fans for the club. It’s something we want to leave as a memento to the hard work, passion and dedication of international fans of the Colorado Avalanche.

The Colorado Avalanche logo is the property of the NHL. The author used it for the sole purpose of presenting this proposal to the Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) organization. The logo was not used for any commercial purposes. Moreover, the name "Colorado Avalanche International" and the logo of the Colorado Avalanche in connection with the term "international" was also solely used for the purposes of this presentation.
