Why did you decide to go to Colorado for the playoffs? After all, it will be a shorter and more expensive trip than it would be during the regular season.
Definitely because of the playoffs. I want to experience this atmosphere both in the arenas and in the cities. Moreover, I’ve already taken part in trips to Denver in the past, I’ve seen a lot of great players play in person, but I’ve yet to see the current group centered around MacKinnon and Makar, which is another motivation.
What are your expectations of the trip?
To see key games of the season, the highest effort possible from the players, to see saves and hits. Putting it simply – playoff hockey.
What result do you predict in the series against Dallas? (We asked prior to Game 1).
I would make both a wish and a real prediction here. The wish is clear, but if I were to bet my money, I would probably lean towards the Stars. Especially due to home ice advantage. I think that the series could definitely go to a Game 7.
How do you feel about returning to Colorado? You’ve already been there three times, but the last time was 11 years ago.
Exactly, just like you’re saying. I fell in love with the US, specifically Colorado, so I’m returning with a feeling of coming back to a well-known and favorite place. If it was closer and the trip wouldn’t be so expensive, I would probably go there every year (laughs). It’s definitely a factor that I want to see Colorado’s current roster led by its biggest stars in action. Last but not least, I look forward to meeting all the friends that I or Eurolanche have made over the years.

Why did you decide to go to Colorado for the playoffs? After all, it will be a shorter and more expensive trip than it would be during the regular season.
Performance-wise, hockey looks a little different during the regular season. You can see that there’s a lot to play for and the atmosphere’s a lot better as well. Of course, I’d like to see the regular season as well, when there’ll be more hockey to see during the trip. I came across this opportunity basically by accident and I’m glad that it worked out.
What are your expectations of the trip?
To get to know the city. To see the NHL and the US in person. To gain experience with travelling.
What result do you predict in the series against Dallas? (We asked prior to Game 1).
4:2 with the Avs advancing.
Did you follow previous Eurolanche trips?
The moment I discovered the Eurolanche group, I noticed the trips, but it always seemed unrealistic to me. Only as time passed did I begin to find out what it looks like. How the trips take place. It’s certainly great to meet either current or legendary players who left their mark on the Avs.

Why did you decide to go to Colorado for the playoffs? After all, it will be a shorter and more expensive trip than it would be during the regular season.
I have to admit that I don’t really know how it all happened. I didn’t plan for it, I rather wanted to watch one or two games at a bar in Brno. I tried to see if anyone would join me. And it really happened. Over the years, I’ve never been to the playoffs, it was one of my last unfulfilled dreams.
What are your expectations of the trip?
I’m looking forward to the atmosphere of the playoffs, which should be incomparable in comparison to the regular season. And also, to the summer weather, which should provide us with the conditions to go to places or do activities, which aren’t available in the winter.
What result do you predict in the series against Dallas? (We asked prior to Game 1).
I would always prefer 4:0 results without any drama. I’ll be a little bit selfish now and say 4:2 – so that we can see all three games, which we’re planning for.
How was the organization of this kind of trip different than usual?
In everything. Usually, it takes up to half a year and there’s time to fine-tune everything down to the last detail. Now it was a matter of a few hours. Of course, the price is different as well, hopefully it’ll be worth it.
