EL: The final two rounds! Who will win?

Eurolanche League is one of the most popular projects of the Eurolanche fanclub. Eurolanche members are betting/predicting the final results of the Avalanche games – the winning team, the final result and the name of the game winning goal scorer. This is the second season of this project. It finished after regular season ended in the last season. It looks like it will be the same this year.

There is still chance for the playoffs, but it is more unlikely the Colorado Avalanche will make it. If not, they will play only two more games this season – against Columbus and Nashville. For Eurolanche League, it means there will be only two more betting rounds.

Check the latest standings of the first six places after game 80:

Member can get totally 11 points for one game – he has to successfully predict the winning team of the game (2 points), the game winning goal scorer (4 points) and the exact result of the game (5 points). As there are two games left, one member can get not more than 22 points together.

Only three members have predicted all three parts of predictions for one game and get 11 points: Juraj Janotak – 11^th game, Michal Urda –29th game and Rudolf Sery – 39^th game.

As you can see in the standings, only first three members have a chance to fight for the first place. Only Dusan Ondrejka can be sure he will finish among the first three places. The rest of the members are still in the game for the 2^nd and the 3^rd place. It is more likely only Jakub Klos from the current group out of the top 3 will have a chance to finish higher.

The first three members will get authentic Colorado Avalanche souvenirs from the Eurolanche Fanclub (photo here). The Eurolanche League will be back for the next season. If the Avs clinched the playoffs spot, the Eurolanche League will continue. If members are tied, the standing is determined by the fewer number of the totally tips in the season.
