Semyon Varlamov shines in the KHL

It was 10th October 2012, when twenty-four years old Semyon Varlamov took a part in the KHL game for the first time. He made a phenomenal performance in a duel between Lokomotiv Yaroslav and Dinamo Minsk. He saved 38 of 39 shots and his team won 2:1.
Nevertheless, his second game, against Avangard Omsk, was so far the worst in his KHL experience. He dropped 4 shots behind his back, the defense did not help him though.
Summary from first two games: 92.3% Sv, 2,51 GAA.
It was the great old Semyon again in the game against Barys Astana. He missed only two of twenty-one shots and Lokomotiv won. In t he following game, Vitaly Kolesnik was in the net whereas Varly was resting.
,,Varly“ was in the net lately against
very strong team of Mettalurg Magnitogorsk with Malkin on the roster. Lokomotiv won 3:2 mainly thanks to Varly. He saved 40 of 42 shots + every shootout including the
Malkin’s
one. Varly was back in the cage in the upcoming game in Chelyabinsk. He was fantastic again - with 37 of 39 saves + every shootout saved, Lokomotiv won again.
It was again our goalie who held chances in yesterday's game of Lokomotiv against Yekaterinburg. Varly saved 37 of 40 shots and Lokomotiv won 4:3 after overtime. His stats was 92.5% Sv.
Varlamov’s stats are admirable. He has appeared in six games, Lokomotiv won five of them. His stats are 93.2% Sv, 2.25 GAA.
