The Colorado Avalanche goaltender has played his best game of the career.Semyon
Varlamov is absolutely the best Avalanche player playing in Europe during the
lockout. We can say that he maybe is the best KHL goaltender at the present.
His Lokomotiv Yaroslavl won 2:1 in the shootouts against Neftekhimik. Russian goalie saved 54 of 55 shots and did
not allow a goal in the shootouts.
Varlamov played 9 games in the KHL this year, won 7 of
them, 3 in the shootouts. His save percentage is 94.2 % and GAA 1,94.
