Sounds perfect night for a Detroit fan.

15 years ago, we could see the fight between Peter Forsberg and Igor Larionov on that night. Few seconds later, Adam Foote and Brendan Shanahan exchanged few punches, while Shanny had enough time to hit skating Patrick Roy in the full speed. Roy fought with Mike Vernon then. During all these fights, McCarty attacked Claude Lemieux from the behind. It was supposed to be revenge for Lemieux´s dirty hit on Kris Draper from the previous season. The final score was 6:5 in the overtime for Detroit. McCarty score the winning goal.
