Stastny re-signs in Germany

Paul Stastny and Blake Wheeler are staying in Germany. They decided to extend their contracts, which had expired on Sunday, to the end of the lockout. Stastny is coming back to the USA on Monday meet his girlfriend. He will come back to Germany at the start of January and will be ready for the game against Mannheim on 4^th day of the New Year.

“We could not wish the nicer present. I am really happy and would like to thank to everybody who made it possible. Both players have underlined they are feeling good here. Their new contracts confirm it,” said the president of the team, Christian Winkler, in the official statement.
