Patterson named CHL's third star

Patterson named CHL's third starKent Patterson named CHL's Third Star for December.

Missouri Mavericks forward Sebastien Thinel, Allen Americans forward Darryl Bootland and Denver Cutthroats goaltender Kent Patterson have been named the ‘Oakley Three Stars’ for the month of December 2012.

The rookie went 6-1-1 in December with a sparkling 1.85 goals against average and a .943 save percentage and one shutout.  The Plymouth, Minnesota native was named the first star of the game three times and the second star once.  On the season, Patterson is 10-5-1 with a 2.80 goals against average and a .914 save percentage. 

Kieran Millan received first star honors for the month of November earlier this season. The Cutthroats visit the Quad City Mallards on Friday and the Missouri Mavericks on Saturday.
