David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism on the Colorado Avalanche game against San Jose Sharks.

If the Saturday´s game was played somewhere else, especially in Europe, the refs would not or probably even could not did, what they did. Fans would destroy the stadium. Stuart´s dirty hit on the Avs captain is the stupidity of a year. Check my analysis. O´Byrne got huge credit for his revenge. He did not wait on McLeod. He did it right now. That is what we expect in this situation. But 19 penalty minutes? No way. Refs helped much to a home team. Yes, they can refer to rules. I do not care. If you were referee, you would know you have to adapt rules on the concrete game and a moment. Until the dirty hit, Sharks played very bad and had one shot on the net. Two PPs had started their good performance. It would be a different game without that hit. Yes, they have perfect PPs, what we do not have, but it does not mean anything. And then Marleau´s face full of weird mimicry could smirk more and more thanks the stupidity of guys like Stuart.
