David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against Detroit Red Wings.

When I was talking about the lack of Avs´ goal scoring chances, I have probably forget they are supposed to score of these chances. So here is a deal: you will not only make chances, but also score goals. Chances and goals, goals and chances. Two words, easy remembered. I hope you will do not forget again. Because you scored one goal last night. I do not like fans who did like the game against Detroit saying “Avs had many chances, offensive lines looked good, it was unlucky” etc. This is a regular game for this team. This kind of games would not change anything on the losing record. Never. I am wondering why nobody has not pointed on Sacco´s comments about O´Reilly and his first game: “He played good, like everybody else, just average.” Excuse me?! Does “average” means “good”? Do we live on Mars? But Sacco is famous for being satisfied for 0.500 record. Not winning, not losing, just average.  These games have started to make me bored.
