David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against San Jose Sharks.

The winning streak continues. Even in the second straight game against the second strong opponent. The whole team had a great game. Bravo to Duchene. Bravo to O´Reilly. Bravo to “Name” – add there a name of any Avs player. The receipt on the win is pretty easy for now: just play as the team, the style of each player has to be as team´s. One team, one goal, one big win. Avs were taking a two-goal lead. It was not easy to get it. Two goals did not stop them. They wanted to add more. We could see it. Unfortunately, the game was tied later in the third period. It is not easy games against San Jose. But what came later in the overtime is hard to explain. Except the one moment, Avs were dominating the whole 5 minutes of that part of game. I do not remember when I saw last time this kind of the Avalanche pressure. It was real avalanche in front of Niemi. For now, it looks Dater was right about how the Avalanche could be a top-4 team in the league in the next season. So far so good.
