David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against Vancouver Canucks.

I have to admit that the Avs finally played a good game after very long time and its opponent absolutely did not deserve to win. Once we would be sad after this kind of loss, but at the present some fans do not care anymore about it and the rest are happy – due Sacco´s future and the draft. The alone bad issue was the first minutes of the Avalanche “show” again. They allowed first goal within five minutes, AGAIN. It could become the new Olympics category. But then they were overplaying Canucks for the rest of the game. Varlamov could show more, especially before allowing 2nd goal. He is still not big goalie and need one more year. I hope it will not take more. Two first offensive lines played good, but I have doubts about Landeskog. Yes, he scored some goals in recent games, but I am missing his classic relaxed and tough play. So only the first bad minutes and good Vancouver´s goalie caused another loss. Avs deserved to get more goals and win too. Who cares?
