David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against Nashville Predators.

Firstly I had a felling like I was watching a game from the last week. Double zeros after regulation again? Not tonight. Colorado played another solid duel and did not give up as usually. Of course they have not improved their PP record. But the defensive pairings almost did not show any mistake, what is a big positive, especially after last hundreds of games. For me, it was surprise when Duchene opened the score. How many times we could see Avs scored the first tally? At the end, Preds destroyed us with two goals in the second-to-last and last minute. I was just saying: if nothing works, why should not work more than nothing? But for how many times Colorado lost the game at the very last minutes? Big fail. Sacco can´t motivate players. His timeouts are comedies. Preds had more shots, but the overtime/shootouts would be fairer. With Sacco? Forget on that! Giguere was great. You know it. But what else…?
