David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against Detroit Red Wings.

Once again Colorado donated two points to its opponent after very solid offensive game. Honestly, I had not seen such a great offensive game by the Avs for a very long time. Especially, the third period´s performance is worth to watch again. They could score five times more, but finally did not. It was hockey beauty. At the other side, there were Red Wings´ players who played poorly and dirty game. I would compare their style to their dirty city. If you live in USA, you know what I mean. At the start of the game I was surprised or maybe not, how good Olver and his mates played. Later in the game, the rest of the lineup did the same. In spite of their great and evidently effort, they did not win. I bet they have to be frustrated like never before. They really played good, wanted a win, deserved a win, but the reality is different. Simply, nothing works. I am only sad with Landeskog and O´Reilly. I did not see good hockey from them during last games.
