David´s column on the last game

David´s column on the last gameA brief recap and a criticism of the Colorado Avalanche game against St. Louis Blues.

Did you have the same feeling like me last night that the Avs could beat every NHL team? Did you have the same feeling like me last night that it is absolutely useless? Can you answer me on the question why they play such a good hockey in this part of the season? Everything is lost, but they show unbelievable effort… Effort for what? For nothing. Or maybe some players are too selfish so they play for their future contracts. Do you know what this could cause? Sacco´s contract extension. It is sick. Everybody knows it. But it is a fact underlined by the presence of Josh Kroenke on the game. The future owner of the Avs was really at Pepsi Center. According to the broadcasting he seemed very happy with the Avs performance. And if he is happy, that is what matters in the end. Nothing is going to change. Everything will remain the same, because the Avs are having nice part of the season´s end. About the game: I praise our whole team for a great game and for winning it. One-man, one team show. But why so late?
