Paul Stastny on move?

Now this is only a speculation, although based on true facts and experience. Paul Stastny has not fulfilled his expectations in last two seasons and went from 79 scoring points (2009-10) to 57 and 53 points the next two seasons. He has scored just 23 points this season in 38 games, gathering also a -6 points in plus/minus points section.

Given $6.6 million left on his contract, his moving is more than possible. Cashiering Stastny would allow Avs to extend the contract of its best season center, Matt Duchene who has one year and $3.75 million left on his deal. An extension is more than desirable from both parties so we will keep you posted on this.
