Avs on WC (4.): No points for Avs players

And here we are with summary of the day 4 from IIHF World Championship. Only two Avs players were playing today, so let´s take a look on how they did.
Czech national team faced a tough opponent and the biggest surprise of this tournament – Switzerland. Swiss team already won their games against Sweden and Canada and was eager to add another win and they succeeded. Horrible defense by Czech national team allowed 5 goals in their net, although the last one was an empty netter. Jan Hejda fired one shot on goal and spent a bit over 17 minutes on ice.

Another game with Avs appearance was Sweden-Belarus. Gabriel Landeskog played his third game on tournament and again did not add any points. He managed 3 shots on goal though and decent 15 minutes ice time. Sweden won this close game 2:1.
