Avs on WC (11): Varly at the goal

Another day on this year´s WC and another info
brought to you by Eurolanche.
The first game of the day with Avs appearance was
Denmark - Belarus. Markus Lauridsen played full game and
helped his team mates to win 3:1. Although he remained scoreless, he put a
solid piece of defending in to play.
Semyon
Varlamov was Russian netminder in today´s clash against Austria. In a very productive game (from goals point of view),
Russia won 8:4. Varlamov had 32 successful saves and 88% saves percentage. Thomas Pock added one assist on his scoresheet
(0+3) and also 12 minutes penalty.
