Eurolanche Camp 2011

Totally 12 Eurolanche members and
hockey fans participated in the Eurolanche Camp 2011. It was our second meeting
this year and had the highest attendance in the history. Fans met in the famous
recreation place called Zelena Voda in Slovakia close to cities Nove Mesto nad
Vahom and Trencin. The trip was held from 7th to the 9th
October 2011.
Some members of meeting moved
from Zelena Voda to the city of Zilina on Friday to watch the soccer game
between Slovakia and Russia. Slovak players had to won in the qualification
game for EURO 2012, but they failed and lost 0:1. After came back to the camp,
the Eurolanche meeting was officially opened and we watched some NHL games.
The second day brought sports
activities like were tennis, street hockey, table tennis and also tournament at
Playstation 2 in NHL 08. Many participants found new friends and talked not
only about the hockey for hours. Later in the evening we watched next NHL games
and some of us stayed wake up until the early morning. Unfortunately, we did
not see good game from the Avs on the projector.
It was great meeting because
there have came other NHL hockey fans. We had really nice time. There were
hundreds of hockey cards and some Avalanche souvenirs for sell. The next
meeting is scheduled for the end of a regular season or for the playoffs
depending on the Avs results. We will inform every Eurolanche member about the
date two or three months before it. Thank you to all participants of Eurolanche
Camp 2011.
