The Game

Our style has changed significantly. The defense did a lot of mistakes – e.g. let opponent´s player to be in front of Varlamov alone many times. Canadiens skated faster and mainly played tough. Colorado offense had few lucky moments which helped us to win the game. The final result and the generally play reminded me the worst time of our team from the last season – no offense/goalie, but not a problem to score five goals. But for today, the big thank you belonged to Varlamov again. He got five goals, but had many great and important saves. I am not going to thank you to referees who did some bad decisions. There were many moments when they tried to help the classic Canadian team which was supposed to win the game finally. But its players did more mistakes than us and even 10 referees would not help them. I hope that this Avs´ performance was influenced by fatigue and it was not something serious. I want to see less than one goal in our net and five scored goals in the next game. At least.
