Eurolanche celebrates 6th birthday

Eurolanche is now six years old! The Fan Club was founded in 2007 and then its amateur-designed website was using a free hosting service in that time. In the next year, Eurolanche got more professional website with own domain. Since 2008, it has been changed for two more times. The current version has got the biggest success so far.

In the six years, Eurolanche organized many contests for its members for the Colorado Avalanche merchandises and signed photos of the players. At the top, there are five organized trips to Denver called Eurolanche Invasion. Totally, members visited 28 games – it even includes one away game. Colorado Avalanche organization supported the Eurolanche members with free game tickets for all of these games and VIP tickets for the post-game meetings with all players. Amongst other activities organized by the fan club are five internal members meetings and meetings with Peter Budaj, Paul Stastny, Milan Hejduk, Jan Hejda and David Koci.

Eurolanche has reached a level of the biggest and the most successful NHL fan club´s project at the present thanks to the hard work over the past six years. The main success is definitely a regular contact with Colorado Avalanche what has brought many benefits for the members. Eurolanche has also become a good source for the breaking news that was caused by an extension of its sources in North America and Europe. The fan club appeared on various websites of big media like for example is Denver Post or The Hockey News. The full list of media appearances is available here.

The growth of daily unique visits of www.eurolanche.com reached a record level. Fan club´s website was the most read fan site in Czech Republic and Slovakia in the last season. It was caused also thanks to Eurolanche´s exclusive interviews – the project that has been run since September 2012. You can read all interviews at this link.
