Trainig camp roster & dates

A total of 58 players will participate in Colorado’s training camp, including 31 forwards, 20 defensemen and 7 goaltenders. The Avalanche will begin its training camp on Sept. 11, with veterans reporting for medical and physical  tests. The full squad will be on the ice for three days, Sept. 12-14, at the South Suburban Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colo. Practices and scrimmages will take place in the morning from roughly 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All sessions are open to the public at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Avalanche will hold its annual Burgundy/White Game on Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. (12:00 p.m.). The Avs begin their preseason schedule on Sept. 18 against Anaheim Ducks at Pepsi Center.

Prior to training camp, the Avalanche will hold a three-day rookie camp from Sept. 8-10 at the Family Sports Center. The on-ice sessions will take place from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Rookie camp is also open to the public.
