The Game

The six-game winning streak on the road has ended. The Avs did not equal team´s record. Kiprusoff won his 6^th game in a row against us. It was really weird defeat at the early morning of CET. Very weird game. Calgary outshouted Colorado 21-5 in the first period, but “lost” 34-36 at the end. Their shots did not mean anything. Giguere had not chance against allowed goals. The defense could not cover guys in front of the net. Then they scored to the half-empty net. Our d-men got our alone two goals, but they were the weakest part of the team. And an offense? I really do not understand why Duchene were not back at his position and did not get bigger ice-time. Yes, he has not 100 points yet, but he can start everybody and brings energy. Kiprussof was in the great shape and nobody would beat him. But it is shame for his and Flames´ fans, because the team with only one good player has not a chance to clinch the play-off spot.
