Eurolanche Invasion VI schedule released
Eurolanche Fan Club released a preliminary schedule of the Eurolanche Invasion VI.
In two weeks, six Eurolanche members from three different European countries will travel to Denver, Colorado for the sixth trip – Invasion in the history of the fan club. The record number of members in this year´s Invasion is not alone highlight of the trip. Two weeks in Denver brings busy schedule and program that will include seven Avalanche games, NBA and NLL evenings, trips in and out of Colorado and sightseeing of other states as well.
The schedule is going to be the busiest in the Invasion history due the shortest of whole trip in comparison with the past. It doesn´t mean we will experience less incredible moments than in previous Invasions. I have no doubt the Eurolanche Invasion VI will be the best event in the Eurolanche history. The following preliminary schedule is just an evidence of my words.
NOTE: The Invasion VI group will arrange concrete and final trips a day before the event after a consultation with the American friends. On gameday, they are options for short in and out of Denver trips like for example Red Rocks, Castle Rock, Idaho Springs, Colorado Springs or even beer and whiskey tours etc. Non gamedays offer more time for longer trips like for example Aspen, Boulder, Lake Granby, Cheyenne in Wyoming or winter activities in Vail or Copper mountain. Every change and update on the following day will be published on the Invasion.Eurolanche.com and our social networks on Facebook and Twitter on time.
Dec 27 – Departure and Paris
Three members from Slovakia, two Czechs and one Austrian will meet in Budapest, Hungary in the afternoon. They will fly to Paris, France, where they stayed overnight. The accommodation is not planned for now. They will spend a night in Paris visiting and sightseeing most famous places in the city.
Dec 28 – Flight to USA
Finally, the flight from Paris to USA is on the schedule in the morning. The group will move from Europe to Minneapolis – on the place where two of current Invasion VI members were nine months ago during the Invasion V when they drove there from Denver for watching Avalanche away game – the first away game in the Invasion history. They will arrive in Denver Airport at 3:36 pm local time.
Dec 29 – Gameday (Winnipeg Jets)
Visit a city center of Denver and famous 16th Street Mall. First pre-game meetings with our American friends in Old Chicago or Brooklyn´s. First shopping of Avalanche souvenirs in the official store and the first game of the trip!
Dec 30 – NBA
Local trips in and outside of Denver and first visit of Avalanche practice in the morning. Later, NBA duel between Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat with famous LeBron James.
Dec 31 – Gameday (Columbus Blue Jackets)
Local trips in and outside of Denver in the morning. Celebrating Slovakian, Czech and Austrian New Year at 4 pm MT, last Avalanche game of the year and then the main celebration of New Year with our friends in Denver.
Jan 1 – Relax day
After the celebration and first tough days in Denver there will be a right time for relax on January 1st. Later in the day, more trips in are of course possible.
Jan 2 – Gameday (Philadelphia Flyers)
Local trips in and outside of Denver and the third Avalanche game of the Invasion VI.
Jan 3 – Boulder
Full day trip to Boulder.
Jan 4 – Gameday (San Jose Sharks)
Early Avalanche game in the afternoon and later Colorado Mammoth of the NLL game in the evening. Sightseeing of Denver between the games.
Jan 5 – Lake Granby
Full day trip to Lake Granby.
Jan 6 – Gameday (Calgary Flames)
Local trips in and outside of Denver and the fifth Avalanche game of the Invasion VI.
Jan 7 – Aspen
Full day trip to Aspen.
Jan 8 – Gameday (Ottawa Senators)
Local trips in and outside of Denver and the sixth Avalanche game of the Invasion VI.
Jan 9 – TBA
Last visit of the Avalanche practice in the morning and then a full day trip in Colorado – TBA.
Jan 10 – Gameday (New York Islanders)
Local trips in and outside of Denver and the final – seventh Avalanche game of the Invasion VI.
Jan 11 – Departure
Departure from Denver in the early morning to Budapest, Hungay via Minneapolis and Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Arrival in Europe on January 12th at 11:55 am local time.
