Avs enforcer Patrick Bordeleau has been hurt, which explains why he hasn’t fought since Dec. 5.Avalanche fourth-line winger Patrick Bordeleau has been playing with an injured hand, he told me this morning, which is why he hasn’t been dropping the gloves. Since he last fought on Dec. 5 at Edmonton against Luke Gazdic, Bordeleau has been an intimidating deterrent by playing the body and pretending he was willing to fight. He was instructed not to fight.
