When is enough?
When is somebody gonna tell Sacco and Sherman "it's on you, you caused this ***. Get out"? It's another year with a good start, due to youth and enthusiasm, I guess, followed by the depressing losing streaks and awful play. Now, I'm not good with depressing stuff. I have enough of my own. So adding to that the "slice your wrist if you're watching" type of games the Avs are providing is not good for me. I guess it's not good for many of you.

It's another year with a good start, due to youth and enthusiasm, I guess, followed by the depressing losing streaks and awful play. Now, I'm not good with depressing stuff. I have enough of my own. So adding to that the "slice your wrist if you're watching" type of games the Avs are providing is not good for me. I guess it's not good for many of you.
Sacco is mixing the lines up to the point that I think he's drawing them out of a hat. Now he's got Hunwick back. So the rookies that supposedly were on the mind of Sherman when he traded Liles are actually not called up. Surprise, surprise... It's just another example of how the management is not thinking of a viable product, but of a cheap product. And if you pay cheap, you get cheap...
Let's face it... We may see it differently, but the Avs are the new Oilers-Islanders of last years. Nobody sees them as a threat. That whole "a young, fast team" is repeated time and again because they won't become "a good team". But the best part, they don't have a 1st round pick to tank for this time. No, because they payed more that Washington would've asked for Varly. That's what happens when you put an accountant to run a hockey team, I guess. Not saying that Varlamov is bad, because I really like him and Giguere. But they don't get the support they need.
I'm thinking Sherman and Sacco are now watching the standings and they can't believe their amazing luck, since the Leafs are up there and the Bruins are way down, increasing their chances of a good 2nd round pick. I didn't see that coming, but we still have a long way to go.
And since there's not much left to write about when it comes to the way the Avs are playing, I'm starting a poll. What is the new line combination that Sacco will present us with and how long till he breaks up Landy-O'Reilly-Winnik? I'm saying Jones in the 4th line it will be a new move and a week til the death of the OWL. (see what I did there with the owl and the death?)
