Next Goodbye. Now to Elliott and Dupuis

Next Goodbye. Now to Elliott and DupuisGoalie Brian Elliott and the center Phillipe Dupuis will not play for the Colorado Avalanche anymore.

Adrian Dater reports at this blog about the departure of next two players. Avalanche management has not offer qualifying contracts to restricted free agents Brian Elliot and Phillipe Dupuis. It simply means no interest and it is also a signal fort both players to start with searching of new team. The experiment with Craig Anderson´s trade to Ottawa has failed. Avs are expected to offer a contract to Tomas Vokoun and probably one more goalie for the backup issues. We will know ore on Friday.

Dupuis, unlike Elliott, had a strong season at the position of center – unfortunately, this is bad. We have already had enough young prospect and players at his position, for example the newest Joey Hishon. Dupuis had to leave the team. We wish him luck.

Colorado is expected to offer classic contracts to these players: Ryan O’Byrne, Kyle Cumiskey, Kevin Porter, David Jones, TJ Galiardi and Ryan Wilson. David Koci and Tomas Fleischmann are probably next players whose you will not meet in Denver next year.
