The Game

What happened? The Avs struggled few hours ago in Minnesota. They could not even score a goal! Tired players, frustration was everywhere. It was definitely different team last night. Giguere was responsible and gained well-deserved shutout. Defense did not make any mistake. D-men did not allow to the Stars do something danger. Offense had great 44 shots on the net, but only three goals. Yes, they won, but nobody could forget on the productivity. I missed classic goal scoring chances again. New line combinations were perfect. They were maybe the best over the last month. The first period was nothing but offensive wave. Then it looked like players wanted to play safely and more defensively. Not good if you are winning only by one goal. Avs players could not score for a longer time, but finally got the important second goal. I do not know what would happen if the opponent would score some lucky tying goal. Let´s be happy, but do not forget on productivity.
