The Game

When I was reading the recap of the game and discussions, I tough it was really great game by the Avs. It did not. The first period was nothing more than lucky scored goals. Devils´ players looked like Avalanche´s from previous games – slower, lazier and without passion. Colorado got the fast lead, but fall asleep in the second period. If Varlamov had not big day, they could score more than one time. It was like players were satisfied with just three goals and could not score more. Was it some specific coaching style? But the third period brought really big avalanche. Our players controlled the rest of the game and did not give a chance to their opponent. They definitely deserved to win. This kind of game players needed for a long time. Hope they will not lost in their dreams. The defense played without bigger mistakes. Elliott is very great player. Season does not have to be lost, but how can it change without bigger changes?
