The Game
This is a brief column about the game against Edmonton Oilers.The next disaster. Colorado has changed something in
the play, but of course did not surprise us. Only Varlamov was perfect. Thanks
to him, the Avs did not get more goals. They deserved to lose 1:11, instead of
1:4. PPs and PKs were the worst from all the season. Did they play together for
the first time? Players did not try to score more goals in the fourth period.
Edmonton wanted to win more. Great passion, but no on our side. Giguere told “there
is not probably such a big hungry for wins like at the start of the season”.
Does it need more comments? I think their style is an evidence of a mini-war
with Sacco. Something has to happen there and they do not like it. I could not
believe these players are bad. Nothing will change to the time when the owner
will show interest in the team. Back to the game. It is all time around – one time
they have million chances and want to win, second time it is absolutely
opposite case. The worst is that somebody in the front office absolutely does
not care.
