The Game
This is a brief column about the game against San Jose Sharks.Colorado has won! Believe or not, this is a hard
reality. The start of the game was perfect, but then everything had started
gone slowly and at the absolutely end it was an allowed goal few seconds to the
end. I do not understand why players looked so tired on the ice in that time.
Maybe a bag skate? Stastny had tons of chances without goal, but was perfect in
every moment of the game. He showed great passes and combinations. Of course,
Duchene and a goalie Varlamov played very good. In spite of positive words it
is hard to point on this game like the great or even very bad. I had feeling
that players were too carefully in some momentums. Also, San Jose did not play
its classic hockey. It was very, very, very important win for us for sure. It
was great all-team game. I still do not understand why Hunwick played on the offensive
position. We must hope that players will not dream about his “huge” win and
will stay on the earth. Because, Eurolanche is coming to Denver!
