Meszaros signed PTO contract with Avs

Andrej Meszaros may become another Slovak player on the Colorado Avalanche roster after a short break. According to the Eurolanche.com, he has signed a PTO contract with Avs for the upcoming training camp. The team will then make decision if they will stay or not. Avs have offered the same contract to a right wing Jack Skille.
There were many rumors about Meszaros' arrival to Denver in the past. 29-year old defenesman played for Buffalo Sabres in the last season and gained 14 points in total of 60 games.
Peter Budaj and Marek Svatos are only Slovaks who played a full time for the Avalanche in the past. Budaj was in the net between years 2005 and 2011. Currently, he is having PTO at the Los Angeles camp. Svatos played for Avs from the season 2003/04 until 2010. He has retired of hockey et.
We will update this story later. We are trying to get Meszaros on the phone, but he has not been available for the past three days.
