The Game

The second game of the Eurolanche Invasion IV was another great performance by the Colorado Avalanche. The team had to face the strong opponent but was amazing on the every position. I would say it was better game than the previous one. Flyers were much better in the first period. Home players were very patient – I think they were missing this ability in the last month. There could be seen the change in the Sacco´s style – the current team is focused more on the defensive duties and not anymore on the big amount of useless hosts. All offensive lines were solid last night. Shame that Malone did not get his first goal. Giguere was the top and is the number one now. The allowed goal in the last seconds of the third period was a bad coincidence. It was definitely something other than it was in the game against Sharks for example. The Avs deserved to win and confirmed in the unbelievable shootouts.
