Jiri Hudler scored twice, and the Calgary Flames defeated the Colorado Avalanche 2-0 at Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday.

Hudler gave the Flames the lead 24 seconds into the game, then scored again 1:00 into the second period.

Starter Jonas Hiller made 15 saves for the Flames before being relieved by Karri Ramo 9:44 into the second period. Ramo made 14 saves for Calgary, now 4-2-0 in the preseason.

Calvin Pickard made 30 saves for Colorado (1-2-1).

The Avalanche continues its preseason on Thursday at the Anaheim Ducks.
