Avs reveal Stadium Series sweater
Colorado Avalanche reveal Coors Light NHL Stadium Series sweater.The Colorado Avalanche revealed today the club’s 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ jersey to be used at the outdoor game at Coors Field on Feb. 27.
The sweater was donned by Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog who put it on during a press conference for the event.
This special concept, to be used solely during the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium SeriesTM Game, incorporates the same Colorado ‘C’ design that was added to the Avalanche jersey designs earlier this year. It also features larger numbers on the back and on the shoulders, so fans in attendance will be able identify their favorite players.
This will be the seventh separate sweater to be worn by the Avs, and it is the 15th iteration of uniform since the club moved to Denver in 1995.
February’s contest will be the first NHL outdoor hockey game played in the state of Colorado, and is also the first in franchise history.
Ticket availability
A limited number of tickets to the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ at Coors Field will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Tickets to the Feb. 27 Red Wings vs. Avalanche match-up and the special alumni game between the two franchises on Feb. 26 at Coors Field will be available for purchase via www.Ticketmaster.com/NHL and www.Ticketmaster.ca/NHL, the official ticket marketplace of the NHL®, beginning at 10 a.m. MT on Tuesday, Oct. 27. The offering is a ticket to the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ game at Coors Field and a ticket for the Feb. 26 alumni game. This opportunity is available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. For all NHL events every person is required to have a ticket for admission, regardless of age.
