The story of the first European Fan Club of the Colorado Avalanche and the biggest Fan Club of an NHL team, Eurolanche, was published by the biggest hockey magazine in the world – The Hockey News. The magazine has been on the market for decades and is often called „The Bible of Hockey“. Its November issue presents Eurolanche on one page. „The magazine reporter asked me for the interview. In his story, you can read about how I became an Avs fan; basic facts about the Fan Club; the first and the upcoming Eurolanche Invasion; the relationship between Eurolanche and the team and also about my private life and my book about three kidnapped kids that has really impressed the reporter,“ said Founder and President of the Fan Club David Puchovsky.

„Eurolanche is being mentioned by many media all round the world every year – websites, magazines, TV channels. But an appearance in The Hockey News is an absolute top moment speaking of media covering the NHL. The one page story is the biggest media-related moment in Eurolanche history. It has really made us happy; it ensured us that we are doing good job and also encouraged us to continue working hard,“ concluded Puchovsky with a note that The Hockey News also published a direct link to the Fan Club’s official website.

The November issue of The Hockey News is available in newsstands in the USA and Canada. If you live outside these countries, you can buy its printed version through various online shops. The fastest way is to buy an online issue through the magazine's official website. 

The Eurolanche Fan Club appeared in various media throughout the world since it was found in 2007. The biggest European magazine about the NHL called Pro Hockey published many reports about the Eurolanche Invasion in its Czech, Swedish and Finnish editions. TV channels Altitude, FOX 31 and Slovak DIGI Sport reported about the Fan Club in the past. The story was also published in the weekly Slovak magazine ‚Zivot‘, in Slovak and Czech regional magazines, US websites including Denver Post and the Colorado Avalanche official website, and on many other sites and platforms. Last but not least, another great moment in Fan Club history was a story published in the printed version of the Denver Post earlier this year.
