The Game

Colorado has won the road game for the first time during all Invasions! It is also its fifth win in a row – all in Invasion IV! It did not look like the Avs were going to win for the first minutes. They later showed the biggest effort and absolutely deserved to win. Only mistakes could change something. Thanks two of them they got two goals. Johnson lost the puck behind the net and Varlamov could save that shot before this situation. But Varly later helped the team later so much and was great. The Avs played faster than in their four previous games. Hard to say why. Maybe they believed in themselves much in the game against the team like Wild is. PPs were amazing and tremendous! Lines combinations were solid again. The Van Der Gulik´s performance only confirms it. Hejda told us it would be very hard to beat Wild after game with Bolts – players had not practice and had to get up early to fly. Jan understood everything and became the second start of the game. Congratulations!
