Do not miss:
Boris Wiedemeyer, 43, lives in Unna, Germany. He became the Avalanche fan in 2005/06
season. It will be his first Eurolanche Invasion. He is working for a Logistic Service Company
as area Manager.
When did you become the Avalanche fan?
It was an unexpected and long process. I watched some NHL games via TV for some seasons and when Uwe Krupp played for the Avs the media interest was bigger than before (as he is German native like Boris – editor’s note). But I became “a regular fan” in 2005.
What is your greatest memory on the Avs hockey?
There is no special moment for me. But the season 2013/14 was a special one with great games and great wins during regular season.
How long have you been in the Eurolanche Fan Club and what do you think about this organization?
I have been in Eurolanche since 2015. My friend – a collector of the game worn hockey jerseys like me – told me about the Fan Club. It’s a nice organization and it’s great what they do and what they are planning.
Why did you decide to join the Eurolanche Invasion VIII?
It has been a dream of my life to watch the NHL in person since I was 20 years old, but whenever I had planned a trip to the US, something intervened. This year I had the chance to Eurolanche that commanded me to use, especially since I can travel even to my Avs.
What do you expect from the Eurolanche Invasion VIII? What are you looking forward most on?
I am looking forward to experience with other Avalanche fans some great moments and to see something of the area. Furthermore, I am looking forward to meet a few collectors and friends I get to know through my hobby of collecting game worn jerseys. And of course to meet and greet the players.
